Requirements Job Overview The Associate Vice President for Compliance and Ethics and Chief Compliance Officer of Georgetown University coordinates, monitors, and provides general oversight of the University’s compliance assurance activities, including compliance both with internal policies/procedures and with external requirements imposed by law, regulation, contracts and/or grant requirements.

The AVP provides leadership to ensure an effective compliance program, characterized by well-articulated policies and procedures, efficient mechanisms for ensuring that the University meets compliance obligations and responds appropriately to problems, and a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the University.

The AVP leads the Office of Compliance and Ethics and works in conjunction with the individuals with responsibility for compliance in various departments across the University.
