Role Overview As an Android Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and QA teams to develop and enhance our native mobile application.

You will play a key role in building a new organization within the company and contribute to creating new value for users.

Main Responsibilities Develop and maintain native Android applications (Java, Kotlin) Work closely with product managers and designers to customize the investment experience Prototype new features and redesign existing ones Improve unit tests and application architecture Highlights of the Opportunity Be part of a team building a new organization and environment Gain experience in high-level business planning and coordination Work in a company pioneering mobile securities services in Japan Leverage an extensive user base and integrated services Required Qualifications 3–5 years of in-house Android application development experience Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and development in Java or Kotlin Familiarity with modern Android frameworks and development methodologies Experience integrating REST APIs Strong sense of ownership Business-level proficiency in English or Japanese (Native Japanese or JLPT N1 equivalent) Preferred Qualifications Experience developing finance or securities-related applications Test-driven development (TDD) experience Agile development experience Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise) Experience in in-house service operation English at business conversational level Working Conditions Employment Status: Full-time Location: Tokyo office (remote work allowed within Japan) Work Hours: Full flex time (no core time), standard hours 9:00–17:45 Holidays: Weekends, national holidays, New Year’s break, company-designated special days Paid Leave: Up to 16 days in the first year, available from hire date Salary & Benefits Annual salary paid monthly, reviewed annually Special incentive based on performance Overtime and transportation allowances Social insurance coverage Retirement plan (401K)
