About The Role In this role, you'll work closely with Duolingo’s Math team to deeply integrate AI into the math curriculum — reimagining how learners interact with concepts like arithmetic, algebra, and word problems.
You’ll have the opportunity to design and ship AI-powered experiences that make math more intuitive, engaging, and personalized.
Reporting to the engineering lead (with potential for evolving reporting lines), you’ll join a small, high-leverage group helping define how AI enhances learning at Duolingo.
We're particularly interested if you've previously built production-level apps, enhancing them with advanced AI techniques, and if you're skilled in comprehensive system evaluations—using both automated tools and human feedback to ensure top-notch performance.
