AI Information Security Engineer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week) Employment Type: Full‑Time, Direct Hire Industry: Financial Services About the Role We are seeking an AI Information Security Engineer to help secure AI platforms, LLM‑based applications, and AI‑assisted development workflows in a regulated financial services environment.

In this role, you will apply modern information security practices to emerging AI technologies, ensuring responsible use, strong governance, and protection against AI‑specific threats.

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security controls for AI platforms and AI‑enabled applications.

Assess and mitigate AI‑specific security threats , including prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, and supply‑chain risks.

Secure LLM integrations and AI‑assisted tooling across development and production environments.

Evaluate and validate AI‑generated code to ensure compliance with security standards and secure coding practices.

Partner with engineering and platform teams to embed security‑by‑design into AI software development lifecycles.

Support and maintain SOC 2 compliance for AI platforms, tooling, and supporting infrastructure.
