Description

The Aerospace Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA, etc.), customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

This role oversees quality assurance, quality control, continuous improvement initiatives, and drives a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 and other applicable aerospace standards.

Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness for customer, regulatory, and certification body assessments.

Oversee inspection, testing, and verification processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and final products.

Manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, root cause analysis, and effective implementation of solutions.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and ensure product conformity.

Monitor supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.
